Party Size Orange Mint Iced Tea

1 Gallon

For big family meals or church picnics and potlucks, there’s nothing more refreshing than iced tea livened up with fresh orange juice and fresh mint. This recipe makes a party-size gallon of delicious iced tea that’s ready for a thirsty crowd.

  • 1 Luzianne® Original Iced Tea, Gallon Size Teabag
  • 3 quarts cold water + 1 cup
  • 2 cups fresh squeezed orange juice
  • 1 cup Strong Mint Syrup
  • Fresh mint sprigs, for garnish
  • Sliced orange wheels, for garnish

  1. Bring 1 quart (32 ounces) of the water to a boil.  Add the gallon size tea bag and steep for 3 to 5 minutes, then remove the tea bag and squeeze it to capture the excess liquid.
  2. Add the remaining water, the orange juice and the mint syrup and stir well. Refrigerate until well chilled.
  3. Serve cold, in tall glasses over ice, garnished with a sprig of mint and sliced orange.
