Raspberry Syrup

Prep Time:

Yield:

1 1/2 Cups Syrup

Ingredients

  • 1 pint fresh or frozen raspberries
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup water

Directions

  1. Combine raspberries, sugar and water in a small saucepan over medium heat and bring to a boil, stirring occasionally and gently mashing the raspberries to release more flavor.
  2. Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes. Let stand for 30 minutes to an hour.
  3. Strain through a fine mesh strainer into a resealable container and store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 weeks.
