Butterscotch Brownies

Yield:

16 bars

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup - butter or margarine, softened
  • 1 cup - packed brown sugar
  • 1 - egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon - vanilla
  • 1 cup - sifted Presto
  • 3/4 cup - walnuts, finely chopped

Directions

  1. Stir brown sugar into melted butter until dissolved.
  2. Add egg and vanilla and beat well.
  3. Add Presto, mix until smooth.
  4. Stir in walnuts.
  5. Spread in greased 8x8x2 inch pan. Bake 350° oven for 20 to 25 minutes.
  6. Cool; cut into squares.
