Caramel Irish Coffee

Smooth whiskey, rich caramel sauce and hot coffee will warm any occasion, and whipped cream sprinkled with raw sugar make this Irish coffee extra festive for holiday celebrations (including St. Paddy’s Day of course), tailgating, cocktail hour, brunch and after dinner. Recipe makes 1 drink.

  • 6 ounces hot, freshly brewed French Market Coffee®️
  • 2 teaspoons caramel sauce
  • 1 teaspoon brown sugar
  • 1 ½ ounces Irish whiskey
  • Whipped cream
  • Turbinado or raw sugar, for garnish

  1. Preheat mug or heatproof glass by filling with hot water. Allow it to warm, then discard the water.
  2. Fill mug with hot coffee, add the caramel sauce and brown sugar and stir until dissolved.
  3. Add whiskey and stir to incorporate.
  4. Top with whipped cream. If cream is lightly whipped, pour it gently over a spoon into the coffee. To make higher peaks, whip the cream to medium peaks and then dollop it on top.
  5. Sprinkle with turbinado or raw sugar, to garnish.
