Southern Kick Coleslaw
4 to 6 servings, about 1 quart
A classic slaw with some extra Louisiana style heat provided by Blue Plate Hot & Spicy Mayonnaise. Serve it chilled as the perfect complement to any hot barbecued or grilled foods.
- 1/2 cup Blue Plate Hot & Spicy Mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon white wine vinegar
- 2 teaspoons honey
- 1 teaspoon celery seed
- 1/2 teaspoon coarse salt
- 1 (14-16 ounce) bag shredded coleslaw mix
- Combine mayonnaise, vinegar, honey, celery seed and salt in a bowl and mix until well combined.
- Add cabbage and toss well to coat. Taste and adjust seasonings, if necessary.
- Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
