Southern Kick Coleslaw

4 to 6 servings, about 1 quart

A classic slaw with some extra Louisiana style heat provided by Blue Plate Hot & Spicy Mayonnaise. Serve it chilled as the perfect complement to any hot barbecued or grilled foods.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Blue Plate® Hot & Spicy Mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon white wine vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon celery seed
  • 1/2 teaspoon coarse salt
  • 1 (14-16 ounce) bag shredded coleslaw mix

Directions

  1. Combine mayonnaise, vinegar, honey, celery seed and salt in a bowl and mix until well combined.
  2. Add cabbage and toss well to coat. Taste and adjust seasonings, if necessary.
  3. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
