Strong Mint Syrup

1 Cup syrup

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup fresh mint leaves, packed (about two .75 oz packages fresh mint)

Directions

  1. Combine water and sugar in a small saucepan and bring to a boil, stirring frequently to dissolve sugar. Add mint and steep for 30 minutes.
  2. Strain out the mint and pour the remaining syrup into an bottle or jar with an airtight, resealable top. Store in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
